BioTechnology
Department of Biotechnology has been established on September 2013 and finds to be a youngest department in our half century old college and it's the only Government College in Tamil nadu which first started an undergraduate Biotechnology degree programme. Since its inception, the Department has contributed a lot in terms of teaching and learning. We have a team of faculties who contributes much to the development of the potentials of students. Department enhances the knowledge base of students and creates research curiosity among students generating highly skilled human resource. We equipped the lab with modern equipments and infrastructures which kindle research interests among budding biotechnologists. After successful completion of B.Sc., degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research and health sectors in India. However, students can also go for higher education to pursue their master or doctorate studies in core, interdisciplinary and allied fields.
